Can anybody give me a quick guide to creating a patch. I have a IA project which is packaged as web media. I now need to create a patch for it to patch 5 files and add 2. What do I do? I have tried creating a new project and adding the base install as a patch reference. This worked but removed all my run time DLL's! So I thought I would open the base, save it as something else and change the revision GUID. Replace the different files, add the patch reference and bingo. I get an error in this method telling me that the web media blocks cannot be referenced.
Any help of the quickest and best way to do a patch is greatly received.
