No billboards in prerequisite progress dialog

Post by khalprin »

I have an installer that shows progress billboards using the html viewer. This works correctly during the main 'progress' dialog that is displayed while installing the application. However, when the progress dialog for prerequisites is displayed, the html billboards are not displayed. Both dialogs have an html viewer control with exactly the same settings.

All the necessary support files exist (and are displayed correctly during the main progress dialog). The setup is a compressed single-file executable.

Do I need to handle the prerequisite billboards differently?

Thanks.

No, you don't have to handle prerequisite billboards differently. It should works in the same way as main progres dialog.
Make sure that prerequisite HTMLViewer receives informations from 'Installation Bilboards'.
Are there any messages in HTMLViewer control during prerequisite dialog is displayed or is it just blank control ?

There are no messages in the HTMLVeiwer control during the prerequisite installation - only a blank control.

I'm not sure what you mean by

I don't believe I explicitly set anything on the HTMLViewer control on the main progress dialog for this...

Thanks.

Double Click on HTMLViewer control -> Object Behavior tab -> Receives Information -> set to Installation Billboards

I thought that maybe you have set this setting to <none>
