An Installaware version 9 (moya build) setup is run on both Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers. On Windows Vista, the scheduled task for updates is created as expected. However, on a Windows 7 computer the same setup does not create the scheduled task. In both cases I am using the Schedule Task command.
Is this a bug? If not, then what parameters are needed to make the Schedule Task command work in Windows 7?

Re: Scheduled Tasks in Windows 7 not working
I have the same problem (InstallAware 9 moya, Windows 7)
I've created empty project with "Receive Application updates" options
Command Schedule Task is called but no task is created.
Did you solve it?

I tried to use Run program with schtasks but it does not work also!
I do not understand why setup.exe can't create tasks
