Call DLL Function, variable argument...

Post by BackDream »

Hello,

I came across and interesting problem. I have to call a function from a DLL that is defined like this:

BOOL __stdcall InstallDriverA(const char* BinaryPathName32, const char* BinaryPathName64, const char* ProductName, BOOL *RebootNeeded);

As you can see, along the return code, the function NEEDS TO SET a bool variable. How can I successfully call that function and pass a variable to its latest argument?

The following does NOT seem to work:

Code: Select all

~InstallAware Clipboard Data~
~Call DLL Function~
~{67D8827F-9912-43FF-9F51-DA1BF8ABD872}~
~$SUPPORTDIR$\cbfsinst.dll,InstallDriverA,bool,DLLCALLOK,"pointer to string",$SUPPORTDIR$\cbfs.sys,"pointer to string",$SUPPORTDIR$\cbfs64.sys,"pointer to string",BladeBoxEE60Agent,"pointer to bool",REBOOTCOMPUTER,$~
~mIDEFunc.dll\mEXEFunc.dll~

REBOOTCOMPUTER is not a variable reference. $REBOOTCOMPUTER$ is.
