Driver deinstallation problem

Post by kaepteniglo »

Hello,

with our setup we ship drivers for a usb device and install them during the installation with:

Code: Select all

DIFx Install x86 driver in folder $TARGETDIR$\Drivers\driver1.inf
DIFx Install x86 driver in folder $TARGETDIR$\Drivers\driver2.inf
This works pretty good and when connecting the usb-device windows recocgnize it and the device driver are installed. The device works after that.

But when we uninstall the application we get the following error:
Image

The uninstall-code is:

Code: Select all

DIFx Uninstall x86 driver in folder $TARGETDIR$\Drivers\driver1.inf
DIFx Uninstall x86 driver in folder $TARGETDIR$\Drivers\driver2.inf
The problem is reproduceable on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2008.

What can we do to solve the problem?

Thanks very much.

I have uninstalled the app without an error. Perfect.
