Hi,
I put this issue to the ticket-system as well, but maybe someone of you experienced the same issue:
After upgrading to IA9, there are problems with patching. I found in the internet error description for this:
Windows Installer Error 1334
The file '[2]' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file '[3]'. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.
This is why:
This behavior occurs in some setups that meet all of the following criteria:
- the setup uses dynamic file linking.
- the Previous Package option in the Releases view is selected.
- multiple files in the setup have the same name.
- the setup compresses files to one or more CAB files.
I saw Wise and InstallShield released a bug-fix for that error.
What can I do to get rid this problem?
patch error 1334

1. Please do not open multiple tickets on the same issue. If you will be posting on the forums, there is no need to open a separate ticket. Use the forums instead.
2. As I said in your ticket reply, the "causes" you have listed do NOT pertain to InstallAware. You probably found them on an InstallShield/Wise website and just pasted them verbatim.
If you want our help, you WILL need to nail down the source of the error, send us minimum reproducible projects, so we can fix and/or provide you with a workaround.

I'm sorry, but we don't have the time to build and investigate each customer's full-blown setup project. You can send us everything you've got, but we're not going to be able to take action on it unless you follow my quoted instructions above. If you want our help, you WILL need to nail down the source of the error, send us minimum reproducible projects, so we can fix and/or provide you with a workaround.

Re: patch error 1334
This error occurs when you add a file with a filename of exactly 16 chracters.
I tried to add worktogether.exe to my project.
Renaming the file to a longer or shorter filename resolverd the error.
