UAC

Post by Welliam »

Hello,
I am new to InstallAware and I read the manual description for the available options for UAC and I still do not understand what is the difference between "elevate administrators only" and "Always elevate", any more description ?

Thanks

If a regular user is running with the former option, then no elevation will occur.

MichaelNesmith your answer make it more mysterious :)

Maybe that way: I have a software that must run with Admin privileges to work with files, what option should I use ?
