Setup hangs on "Publishing Product Information"

Hi,

a customer reported that my setups hangs while "Publishing product information" (or something similar, in german "Veröffentlichung der Produktinformationen") is shown as Progress text in Progress dialog. The message is not from me and I have no idea what this should be.
Can you tell me what is done by installer at this moment, that I have a starting point for further research.

Windows Installer relays these progress messages natively. InstallAware is not directly involved at this point. Logging the setup might be helpful.

I got an answer in http://forum.installsite.net/ (in german). I will post it if anybody is interested:
At this time registry entries are written but maybe already another action can run that does not have a status text.
Back to my problem:
I have no idea why the setup could not write registry entrries because I already checked if administrative rights are present. Maybe it could be a anti-virus program.
