Problem creating a new folder.
Problem creating a new folder.
I've created a script file which checks for the presence of a folder on the C: drive and it's correctly returning FALSE. I then try an create that folder using the Create Folder plug-in but the folder is not being created. I can create the folder using the Win7 explorer without a problem. If I use the Get System Setting Administrator Rights plug-in it returns TRUE which means I should be able to create the folder withing my script? Am I missing something or not doing something correctly?

Create Folder (afaik) is a command which will only be executed after a
Apply Install.
Do you 'apply install' after using Create Folder?

Frank,
One moment while I slap myself silly. Doh! Slap! Doh! Slap! Slap! Doh!
That feels much better. Thanks. That did indeed solve it.

I don't know what the temperature is a your location, but at my side (Netherlands) it certainly has an impact
on my focus! So no worries, glad I could help.
Re: Problem creating a new folder.
Yup! It has been swelteringly hot in our office. We work in an old manor house and we are located in the "servants quarters" (most appropriate) which is on the top floor directly under the roof. We've had temperatures of 34 degC in our office which means it's cooler outside than in! It does indeed affect your "focus" but then again, I have days like that when things are normal. I've been relatively dormant on the IA front for a while, so like the proverbial circus chimpanzee, I have to be retrained inbetween bananas.
