I am trying to place my data in c:\users\[Name]\AppData\Local but it seems the only choice in the file target folder list gives me c:\users\[Name]\AppData\Roaming. I use the Standard C# Application.LocalUserAppDataPath to reference all my data in my program and I need to install some initial data to the \local\ area. I am using InstallAwareExpress.
How can I reference c:\users\[Name]\AppData\Local ?
File Folder $MYAPPDATA$
Re: File Folder $MYAPPDATA$
You could change your application to use Application.UserAppDataPath instead of Application.LocalUserAppDataPath.
If you use the Studio Edition of InstallAware, you can have access to MSIcode to specify paths in your own $variables$ and have files moved or installed to the desired location.

Re: File Folder $MYAPPDATA$
Just a request. In your next version of software you should have a reference to the c:\users\[name]\appdata folder, then you can choose which path you want to go down.
