Re: Error during build: Access violation at address 00000000
I can report that I copied my IA project to a Win7 PC and ran the same IA R9 install on the same project without error. On both the Win7 and Vista machines I used I logged in with administrator privileges. Offhand it appears that IA R9 has problems with Vista file permissions.

So, your theory is that the error is being produced because of something to do with Vista?
Were you ever able to reinstall IA on Vista?
On the Vista machine that you saw the problems with, was UAC enabled? Was it a 64 or 32-bit version?

But I got the error on a Windows XP PC. Nevertheless I am now not able to reproduce it anymore.

Well, at least we know one cause of this now.
