Size of VC 2010 C++ Runtime 7zip

Hi there,

I notice that the size of the web media block 7zips for VC++ 2010 Runtime for x86 and x64 are ~10MB. Why the size disparity with the MS downloaded versions of the runtime which are about half that? Is there any way to trim their size?

Answering my own question ... the MS VC 2010 Runtime contains every language hence its size. I presume it's safe to strip back that runtime to just US English only? What files should get removed? (Sorry not done this before).

Not sure what you should do. You may want to consult Microsoft to see best way to go about that. It'd be nice if you post a solution when you find one.
