Two questions:
1) I added dutch translations to my Installer. I thought InstallAware will now select the language automatically, so standard language is german and dutch translations are included. When I install on a dutch Windows (W7 64) InstallAware shows all dialogs in german. Why that?
As a workaround I've added the language selection dialog, but I thought this should not be necessary, right? What else do I have to do to let the installer install with dutch dialogs on a dutch system?
2) It seems like the automatically generated translations are too long for the labels, buttons, radio buttons etc. I thought as a developer one should know that translations sometimes need more and longer words than the english version of the text, so I thought InstallAware-developers were aware of this problem. Seems like I was wrong - can't believe it. Did you never try to view your dialogs with translations?? Or is there an option I have to check?
Please reply soon, we are in the middle of our test period and definitely need dutch versions of the installer.
Localization
Re: Localization
I have as a rule of thumb had to go through my dialogs and expand the labels. Yes, it would be nice if the dialog templates were updated to support the longest strings possible, but they have not gotten around to that yet.

Re: Localization
For #1, you have to select all of the languages when importing, not just the one you are adding.
