Patching: Can't add patch reference

Hi,

when I try to add a patch reference to my project InstallAware tells me:

"You may only add InstallAware EXE or MSI files as patch references."

I tried different old setups, none works.

I'm using InstallAware 7 Studio and the setups are converted to msi using the Group Policy Wizard.

Any help would be appreciated.

You would need to patch against the single exe that you converted to a GPO msi.
A single exe is created for the patch. You could then convert that patch exe to a GPO msi.
