Sometimes when we run a MS SQL DB Install script MSI it returns : Runtime error is script, '' is not a valid integer value
This can be seen from here:http://screencast.com/t/pmcfI0uAuH
This fails on both IA 9 R2 and IA 10. I have it consistently failing on XP.
I have posted a work around to this here. My work around does not resolve the error - http://www.garrardkitchen.com/2010/11/d ... instances/
Detect MS SQL Instances
Re: Detect MS SQL Instances
I see you have a VM that produces this error. However, I don't see mention of the cause. Do you have any idea what the cause could be?
Is there perhaps an instance that was installed without a name?
