Single File build stopped working.

When I try to build a single file build it creates the same file structure as the Uncompressed folder. The .exe in the single folder does not run standaloe it need all the other files and folder in the "Single " folder. It was working Creating a single exe.

Dear Paul,

I'm not sure I quite understand your problem, however when you compile to a single file, you should be able to run your installer without dependencies from the single exe file generated in your Release\Single folder.

in the release\single folder InstallAware is putting the foloing files:
mia.lib
setup.bmp
project.exe
project.msi
project..res
and a folder called "Data" full of stuff.

If I copy the project.exe file to my test machine and run it I get the error
"The program can't start because the mai.lib is missing from you computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."

Yestarday when I built the "Single File" build InstallAware ONLY generated the Program.exe file. ANd when I ran this file it itstalled the program on the test machine.

Do you want just the .mia file or should I send all the files in the project folder (excluding the "Release" folder)?

Dear Paul,

In order to build a Single File, go to the Project tab -> Build Settings (under deployment) and uncheck Debug Build (when a project is built in debug mode IA automatically creates all the files for debugging purposes).
