Hello Aviv,
First of all, I would like to say Happy New Year to you. Wishing you a wonderful year.
Second, can you explain me how the license can cause the error message displayed in Vietnamese? The error message that i talk about is the same error message that I got with InstallAware 9 R2 while installing the C++ run-times, but with IA 10, it show in Vietnamese.
Finally, I install the C++ run-times the same way as I install the others. I just put the check-mark on the C++ run-times in Design Mode.
Thank you for your help. I'll try IA 10 again at the same time.
Regards

Re: Unable to uninstall on window 7 x64
Dear AKNG,
Thanks! Happy new year to you too.
About the Vietnamese, I have recently learned from the development department that these messages are caused by license problems. It might be that those messages are different and that the IA9 ones are installation related but the IA10 ones are license related.
Thanks,
Aviv Giladi

Re: Unable to uninstall on window 7 x64
Hi Aviv,
I tested with the latest version of IA 10 and it seem working fine with Mircosoft Visual C++ Secure Runtime 9.0 (inlcudes ATL and MFC) (x64). Thank you!
But I still have problem with Mircosoft Visual C++ Runtime 9.0 (inlcudes ATL and MFC) (x64). I add this runtime the same way as I did with the one above and still not working with IA 10. But the Secure Runtime above is seem fixing my problem.
Also, I still have problem with display message in Vietnamese (please see the attachment file). I still use the same license file to activate the product. I have no problem with this license since IA 7, IA 8 and IA 9 R2. Is there any problem with my license? Thank you for your advice

Re: Unable to uninstall on window 7 x64
Hello,
As a reference, you cannot use the same license on all InstallAware versions. When you upgrade InstallAware (whether its a minor or a major upgrade), you must regenerate your license and reinstall it. Furthermore, in general, message boxes and texts in unfamiliar languages mean that you have broken your IA product by using an incompatible license.
As for the run-times, please note that secure run-times are fixed. You should no longer use insecure run-time versions since they are, well, not secure, and as such, considered deprecated.
Thanks!
