Revision Code Not get changed when Rebuild the set up

Hi,

There is a problem that I am facing. Please find the case study as follow:

I have a InstallAware setup says R1 with "Change Revision Code automatically upon Rebuild" checkbox selected. I deployed the set up at the customer's end.
Next Time I rebuild the same set up and found that this set up did not uninstalled the previous version.Reason behind was the revision code was same between the set up's.

What I am looking for is the root cause of the problem becuase this behavoiur is not getting repeated always.

Can anyone help me on this issue.

Dear Rahul,

Basically you are saying that sometimes when you rebuild the same setup and run it on a PC on which the previous version of the program is installed, the previous version does not uninstall? Maybe you did not rebuild the setup properly / you ran the wrong setup.exe file?
