uninstallation script

Hi,

How can I write script for uninstall?

My installer is supporting multiple instance installation, entry in ARP i.e. ProductName Instance1, ProductName Instance 2 ..., installation path is different for each instance, what I require to do is when user rerun the installer then it should display uninstall confirmation dialog, and after that Installer prompts combo box to choose uninstall desired instance, based on this input installer should uninstall the selected instance only. From ARP it is working fine, but I require to do it on rerun of Installer. I am in a critical situation so response in this regard would be very helpful for me.

Dear abhimudgal1,

From what I understand you essentially need to control the uninstall script? If that is the case, in your MSIcode tab there is a "Perform Uninstallation" region (I am assuming that you created your project with a wizard. If that is not the case, you are looking for the area in your MSI code around the command "Apply Uninstall"). This region is responsible for your uninstallation and can be modified to suit your needs.
