I need to run a third party setup inside my project, but I don´t want to copy the setup file to my application directory, I would like it to be wrapped into my setup file. Is it possible to create an empty installer just to execute the action of running other installs?

How to run third party setup ?
Re: How to run third party setup ?
Dear Thiagorod,
The best way to install MSI setups are with the use of our (Un)Install MSI Setup plugin - it is intuitive, easy, and integrated right into InstallAware.
I am attaching a tutorial how to use it here.
Further, regarding your second question, you can use Support Files or the File Bag plugin. Both these features allow to make files available to your installer in runtime, but the actual files are not kept locally. Please refer to the help files for more info (F1 in InstallAware).
Thanks!

Re: How to run third party setup ?
Hi,
Actually, it was one question only
. I need to run other .exe files, but they should be wrapped into one single Setup. I tried the support files feature, but it won´t execute the files. Also, I need to set run time parameters for the third party exe.

Dear Thiagorod,
How did you try to use the Support Files? It should definitely work!

Re: How to run third party setup ?
Hello,
I just added the .exe files to the Support Files folder at the Project Manager. But I didn't find an option to add parameters or to set how they should run.

Dear Thiagorod,
Simply, in the (Un)Install MSI Setup command dialog, under the Package tab, input your file in the Use Package File like so:
$SUPPORTDIR$\mysetup.exe
