Debug problem

Postby bendrouet » Fri Feb 03, 2006 1:46 am

I am currently testing InstallAware and I have a few question to ask.
When I am using the Debug mode (No compression, Debug build checked), I have this error message when the code arrives to the line
wizard loop

I should notice that the wizard loop sequence is closed with an End block.
So no mistake with End block

The message displayed talk about no BUILDMODE.dfm found in my IA project directory

I searched the BUILDMODE.dfm file in my drives but I did not find it.

After this error message, IA freeze and I should Quit it and restart to work again.

I test the Version 5.01 of IA.

Has someone an idea in what is the way for me to use the debug mode ?

Best regards,

Benoit

Hi Benoit!

It seems you have spotted a bug with the Wizard Loop command when run under the debugger. I have escalated this to product management and will have it resolved ASAP.

In the meantime you may take a look at the template setup projects which don't use Wizard Loop so you can move forward with your project.
