Near the end of a long build process (uncompressed) I get this message from the Build Progress dialog: Error during build: Unable to commit MSI database.
This current project was built before upgrading to 10.10 and ran fine. I created a test project and that builds OK.
Any ideas?
James
Error during build: Unable to commit MSI database
Re: Error during build: Unable to commit MSI database
Dear James
I personally haven't encountered this with 10.10.
Perhaps because the test project builds okay for you, try and strip down your main project until you isolate the problem..
I would try clearing the temp folder.

Re: Error during build: Unable to commit MSI database
The problem had to do with Malwarebytes antivirus program. It was not enough to disable as it still has its driver resident. Once completely removed the entire project compiles, and at a dramatically increased speed. McAfee is also running but this does not seem to have any effect.
