I have several products using IA scripts, with web updates working fine. I would like to modify the details of my already installed product(s) to point to a different monitor URL to perform testing of some new behaviors. Can you describe where this information is stored on the user computer?
Best,
Scott

Re: Testing web updates
Dear Scott,
Without changing the installer, this is unfortunately not possible. By default the monitor URL is read from the UPDATE_SERVER compiler variable which is compiled into the installer.

Re: Testing web updates
Dear Scott,
Please note that for future releases, you can change the update script in order to allow later customization of the monitor URL.
For example, you can keep the monitor URL in the registry, and read / write it when updates occur.
