GAC Issues

I am using Telerik controls in a winforms application that I have been working on for some time now. Recently I started using the canned themes that come with these controls. In any case, I am installing the theme dll's into the GAC with Installaware (which seems to work perfectly fine as they appear in c:\Windows\Assembly) however the themes do not apply to my application after installation.

If I right click and Run As Administrator the themes are applied correctly and work perfectly fine after that (meaning if I close the application and run it as a non-administrator everything is fine). I am thinking I am missing something while installing these dll's into the GAC via InstallAware. Does anyone have any idea what that something might be? It's driving me insane!!!

On a side note I have tried simply distributing them (the dlls containing the themes) with my application with the same result. I am borderline as to whether this is an InstallAware issue or not but would really appreciate anybody's insight on this.

Dear tmiller11,

I strongly doubt that this is an InstallAware issue; I have successfully registered a variety of assemblies to the GAC with IA.
I also doubt that you are not installing them properly - just add them to the Assemblies section in the Design tab and select GAC as the target..
