InstallAware updates

Hi folks,

my company has a floating license for InstallAware 10.10. The administrator for our build server is telling me that we're receiving notices that there are updates available for InstallAware on the build server. On my development machine, though, I've not received any notice.

Is there a link somewhere on the website that can tell me what changes are available and provide instruction for how to receive them?

Dear James,

Just accept any updates that InstallAware is offering you - it is possible that your have different versions installed on your machines.

Hi Aviv,

I touched base with the development server's administrator, and he let me know that the udpate notification "it popped up that one time in the Windows taskbar, I canceled it, and I haven’t seen it since. Like you, I haven’t been able to find a way to manually trigger it." As such, we know that the build server has updates available for it, but we're unable to access them.

Is there any way to manually access the update system?

What you can do is locate the UninstallString for InstallAware - open regedit, and search for the InstallAware UninstallString.
It will be located in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{PRODUCT_CODE}\UninstallString.
I recommend doing a search for InstallAware to find the UninstallString.
Use the EXE in the UninstallString and run it with the /update flag.
