InstallAware 7 Extraction of Install fails repeatedly

We have recently upgraded to InstallAware 10 and overhauled most of the machines in our office - however, we are keeping a few older machines ready and viable just in case. As part of that effort we have been trying to (re)install InstallAware 7 on one of those machines. The install just wont work...

We get the handsome InstallAware 7 Setup screen and it runs most of the way through and then we get an error "Extraction of installation data downloaded from the web has failed" and it asks us: What would you like to do? One selection is "Download a fresh copy..." and the other is "Try to extract ...again" - NEITHER of these work and just flash the screen and take us right back to the same error/question.

Whats going on and how do we resolve this???

We have some older installs we will be keeping in InstallAware 7 - so we need this to work.

Dear blandry,

What happens when you take the exact same binary and try to install it on a different, clean machine?

Also, could you define reinstall? Do you have IA 10 installed on those machines?
