Dear Aviv,
I tried this with a complete new project using the Build Uncompressed Directory Layout
If I uninstall this project there is no Browse for folder window.
So, perhaps I have alogic problem in my project?
Or could it be that some plugins like "editfile" or "run program" cause this problem?
Do you have an idea how can isolate the problem?
best regards
Hansjoerg
Uninstall, browse for folders, Original Installation Source
Re: Uninstall, browse for folders, Original Installation Sou
The Run Program does not cause this. The EditFile is an externan (non-IA authored plugin) and therefore I am not sure about that one.
Try to remove the commands slowly and strip your installer and see if you can isolate the problem.

Re: Uninstall, browse for folders, Original Installation Sou
Hello,
all suggestions does not work.
no success,
Caching is activated but still prompt me for "original sources at the end"
Curious thing is: If the browse for folder dialog appears at the end of uninstalling and if I then select the directory with the "setup.exe" then the IA wizards ends with success.
But if I then start setup.exe again then always the maintenance window appears and want to remove the old version.
Then IA does something and end with success.
But this is a never ending loop.
I have no more ideas what else can we check.
