Check File Version is not working correct

Hello,
i'm try to install the latest vcredist 2005 for the MFC
the dll to check is mfc80.dll with version number 8.0.50727.5592
but the check File Version command will find 8.0.50727.762 as newer ??
How can i resolve these issue?

I don't really see what the issue is - 8.0.50727.762 is indeed newer than 8.0.50727.5592.

Sorry but these is not true

MFC 8.0.50727.762 is from 10/21/2009 Build 762
MFC 8.0.50727.5592 is from 4/14/2011 Build 5592

for me 762 is lower than 5592

Maybe you should check the file modification data because as far as versions go there is no argument that 8.0.50727.762 is indeed newer than 8.0.50727.5592.
