I'd like the user to be able to install multiple instances of my application. Currently InstallAware will first ask to uninstall the app if it exists. I tried setting MAINTENANCE to false at the top of my script. This almost works. The issue with this is that on the second install (select different target folder) the folders I need are created in the correct target folder, but files are copied to the old target folder. When I step through the script the TARGETDIR variable looks correct. The "Install File" commands don't seem to work as expected.
Is there another way to accomplish what I'm trying to do?
Thanks
disable Uninstall
Re: disable Uninstall
Sure!
Just use the Transform Instance command. Place that command in the beginning of your MSIcode script and that will allow you to install multiple instances of your setup, side-by-side
