In out app we can run any updates using a different account (which has admin privileges).
When I create a shortcut on the desktop will the shortcut be on the users desktop or on the desktop of the user running the update?

Create shortcut on desktop
Re: Create shortcut on desktop
Dear Thomas,
That really depends on where you create the shortcut - if you create it in \Users\{USERNAME}\Desktop that it will be in that user's desktop..

Re: Create shortcut on desktop
The shortcut is created like this:
Create Shortcut $DESKTOPDIR$\MyAppname to $TARGETDIR$\MyAppname.exe
so I guess this is on the desktop of the user running the setup, in my case the admin account.
