~0 left behined after an uninstall

Dear All,

During testing we found the folder C:\ProgramData\~0 and C:\ProgramData\~1 etc for each time we installed and uninstall our product. Is there a way to eliminate this effect?

This actually doesn't happen for me here. Try creating an empty project from the Basic Setup template. Is the result the same?

Yes, after creating a blank project the ~0 folder was created after uninstall it from add remove programs.

Hi Ron,

This folder is created by InstallAware and deleted upon reboot. This is to work around the issue of a program not being able to rename itself while running..
