Update broken after v10.10 upgrade

On my WinXP dev machine the update packs were working fine in IA v10. Now that I have upgraded to IA v10.10 the latest manual update is not working.

On the Win7 32-bit test machine the update does not even apply. Original version 1.0.0.1; update version should be 1.0.0.3 but doesn't even seem to download.
On the WinXP test machine the upgrade simply hangs when it is looking for the update.

Can you provide some debugging steps to fix this update pack issue? There are 2 dozen users in the field and manually installing the new version on each of their 1-3 machines is not an option.

On the Win7 32-bit test machine:
Dialog box displays: "No updates are available for [Product Name] at this time. Please check back again later."
Is there some registry entry or file that keeps track of when an update was downloaded? Several tests were run on this machine. Perhaps the update is skipping this update thinking the user cancelled it?

On the WinXP test machine:
Dialog box displays the new update listed. But the buttons are missing to apply the update so I forced it to close then rebooted the machine.
Okay, it worked automatically this time!

There is a file called installedupdates.dat - its located in ProgramData\{PRODUCTCODE} - what does it contain on the problematic machine?

Try deleting it, it might have been there from previous tests.

Deleting the ' installedupdates.dat' file allowed the update to download and install correctly.
