IIS and Creating virtual folders

Hi!

I have a installation that creates a couple of virtual folders under the web site that the user chooses.
When running the installation for the first time on a computer everything works as expected.
Running the installation a second time when the virtual folders is already created but anyway executing the Create Virtual directory command in the script the root folder for the hole Web site is set to the same directory as my virtual folder (causing recursion on web.config).

Any one seeing this before?
Dosent the create virtual folder command handle the case when the folder already exist and I must somehow check if the virtual folder exist?

Tested in IA 10.10 and 11.02 using Windows 2008 and Windows 7.
