Must go from IA11 back to 7R2 - How???

We originally purchased InstallAware 7R2 Studio a few years ago and it has become our installer of choice. More recently we pushed our corporate parent to upgrade us to InstallAware 11 and after months of hounding them, they did so, however they purchased InstallAware 11 Developer which has become, and now is, basically completely useless to us. Having lost access to the Designer and Debugger due to the Studio vs Developer versions, we just cant get anything done in InstallAware 11. We MUST go back to IA 7R2, but each time we have tried this in the past, the install runs for a while and then dies. Reviewing the posts on the IA Support site there is are a number of posts that IA techs ask "Have you had a more recent version on your system?" question to. It seems this is a barrier to 'downgrading'.

I need to go back to version 7R2 and simply dump IA11 completely. If this means I have to "clean" any machine I might want to do this on, I have to do it.

Are there any instructions anywhere, or any advice you (IA support) can give as to how I can achieve this?

Dear blandy,

If you have the original 7 R2 setup files, all you need to do is uninstall InstallAware 11 and install 7 R2. That should work just fine.
