Transfer to New Computer

Hi,

I have InstallAware version 8 on a vista machine. How do I transfer software to my new Windows 7 notebook machine. I tried copying the downloaded file from when I origionally purchased the software to my new computer. It asked me to supply a password which I did from original setup. But then it told me that it could not perform set up - that the file was either corrupt or the password was incorrect and to try downloading the file again. What to do?

Dear Dan,

Did you backup your original installation files? Are you sure you are entering the right password that was emailed to you when you downloaded the version?

Hi Aviv,

Yes to the best of my knowledge I am using a backup and I have the password. I haven't done anything with this for over 2 years so I can't be certain of anything. But my notes say it is correct
