Still get Evaluation dialog after purchasing
Still get Evaluation dialog after purchasing
I installed the Studio version of IA 11 and then ran the Licensing wizard received when we bought a shared license. However, I'm still getting the "InstallAware Evaluation" "Thank you for trying InstallAware" dialog whenever I launch IA.

Re: Still get Evaluation dialog after purchasing
Hi,
Please try running the license installer again. If that doesn't work, try removing IA completely and reinstalling it again.

Re: Still get Evaluation dialog after purchasing
I had re-run the license installer without benefit. I just finished re-installing IA and re-running the license installer. Still get the Evaluation dialog.
I'm running Win7 x64.
Here's what I did:
1. Uninstall IA, including deleting folder
2. Reboot
3. Run "InstallAware_11_With_Runtimes.exe"
4. Wait 17 minutes for Installer to "verify the contents of the setup package" (!)
5. Select "Studio" (which is the version purchased)
6. Select Custom and turn off all IE versions, Early .NET versions and several dialog styles
7. Leave the "Start InstallAware" checkbox checked
8. Cancel the wizard dialog that appears on IA startup
9. Close IA
10. Run the license installer
11. Let it open IA when done
12. Cancel the wizard and close IA
13. Launch IA
--! Evaluation dialog
14. Reboot computer
15. Repeat steps 10-13
--! Evaluation dialog

Hi Bob,
This is interesting. Can you please verify that you have indeed generated your license from our customer's area and are installing the latest key for V11?
Thanks!

Hi Royi,
I went up to the customer area and was surprised to see it listed Studio Admin as our purchased product; I thought we were getting Studio. When I install Studio Admin, all is well.
Thanks for your help and sorry for the confusion...
