IA 12 upgrade
IA 12 upgrade
After upgrading to IA 12, I'm getting a strange error, When I got to an ASP page and call server.createobject(object) I get error 800a01ad, I'm installing on a 64 bit machine using a 32 bit install. I check the registry and the CLSID are in the right places. The class object are getting created. It was not an issue when I used IA11. Has anything changed in the install since the upgrade that I may be missing? I install this on a machine that never had my program on it before (clean machine).
Re: IA 12 upgrade
Hi,
Which ASP page are you referring to? Is this something your application is deploying?

Re: IA 12 upgrade
Yes. After the install its the first page a user will go to to log in the web base program. It make a call into a VB6 .dll that was just installed by IA12.
Re: IA 12 upgrade
Really puzzled, just went back to an old installed build with version IA 11 and it installed fine on to the machine with the issue.
Re: IA 12 upgrade
Please let us know if the issue returns / you have more information about it.
