IIS Site root folder

I am setting up a virtual folder in IIS 7 via the Web template project that comes with IA 2012. No matter what existing website I select from the list to add my virtual folder to IA will reset the path on the root of the website to my install folder. This of course toasts any other web applications that are installed on the website.

What is strange is that I created a new project from the "IIS Websites and Folder" template and it does not cause the problem. The attached project was also created from the "IIS Websites and Folder" and it does cause the issue. I can't see anything that I might have added that would cause this issue.

Not all that much, added some files and that's about it. I didn't change any of the IIS stuff except for setting properties.

Another thing I forgot to add, this has been happening to my "web" installations from IA version 9 when I started using it. Every one had this problem.

Are you able to restart your project from the original template point?

Yes I can do that. Maybe I will make one change at a time and test so I can see when it starts having the problem.
