How do I create a combobox that displays IIS Web Sites

Post by rmarma »

Hi

I would like to create a comboBox in my setup that lists all the available IIS web sites.
I will then create a virtual directory under that web site.

Can you tell me how to populate the comboBox with a list of web sites?

Thanks!

Hi,

All you need to do is get the list of iis sites using the Get IIS Site command, and set that value in the combobox!

Thank you. I have populate the combo and the sites are shown properly.
I am now able to select the site and create virtual directory in the correct site.

When uninstalling the App, I would like to delete the virtual directory from the correct site.
Is there a way to persist the selected site so that the uninstall process removes the virtual directories from the proper site.

Yes - you can set a Set Persistent Variable command, which is just Set Variable with the Persistent checkbox checked!
