Update error

Post by ancere »

Hello,
We are migrating our InstallAware 9R2 install from our old XP machine to a new Win7 machine.

The problem is when we try to run the install or add/remove options we get a popup saying:

"Extraction of installation data downloaded from the web has failed. What would you like to do?"

No matter which option we choose the data does not get downloaded correctly.

Apart from having to pay to upgrade, is there a way to correctly install on our new machine, or copy the files (and plugins) from our old machine before it is wiped?

Thanks

Hi,

Do you have the full installer (not the web exe) of 9 R2 backed up?

The installer is over 13Mb. I am assuming this is the web installer. We do not have the full installer backed up.

Hi,

We do not carry the full installers of older version of IA on our servers.
