Hello
I try that my installer checks for an existing program installed on the PC
if program is installed the registry is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GPL Ghostscript\#.##
where #.## is a version number which can be differ and I do not know before
I tried with Check Registry:
Check Registry Key HKLM\Software\GPL Ghostscript\ into GHOSTSCRIPTFOUND
If it is not installed it returns NO$KEY which is ok. If it is installed it returns NO$VALUE
But how can I find out the correct version number , for example
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GPL Ghostscript\9.02 ?
regards
Hans
Read Registry sub key?
Re: Read Registry sub key?
Hans,
I am afraid you can only read values, and not whole subkeys.
As a workaround you can invoke reg.exe using InstallAware's Run Program command.
