To deploy Asp.net Application

I am evaluating you application for my company i have many question.
Can you help me how to creating the set up for web application.I add all the required file in the setup but give me error when running the application.Any demo will be help full.
And i am unable to modify the web.config file after the set is complete.I am using Edit XML to edit the Web.config file.
Is it possible to prevent removal of web.config file when install the application again because what i want is to read that web.config file and display connection string during the installation if application is already installed.

I am a little confused by your message, but you can create a setup from the Installing IIS Web Sites and Folders template.
This will be a good basis for your installer, and will explain how to do many basic things.
