Windows 7 builds extremely slow
Windows 7 builds extremely slow
We recently installed IA 9 Release 2 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine, and are experiencing project build times that are at least 5 times longer than on our previous XP machine. Is there a known issue with IA 9 and Windows 7 and/or 64 bit systems? Is there any fix for this problem?

Dear Dave,
although I'm currently using version 2012 of InstallAware, I have personally used version 9 on both Win 7 32 & 64 and I never had experienced with similar problems.
I understand that this will not help you too much ... but it is the only thing I can tell you.
