Partial Install only

Hi,
I want to design my project so that the user selects by way of a radio button what role my program is to perform after installation. If they select a 'Client' role then I don't want IA to install anything that I have defined for the TargetDirectory 'ALLAPPDATA'. If they select a 'Standalone' role then IA goes ahead and installs everything defined for the 'ALLAPPDATA' directory. A third role, 'Server' will also install everything for the 'ALLAPPDATA' however the actual directory this points to may be defined by the end user as another path altogether if they so desire.
No matter which role they chose, everything else in the IA project remains the same.
I can't see at which point in the script where I can insert an IF/ELSE scenario with regards to actioning the 'ALLAPPDATA' installation segment. I'm assuming that changing the path of the 'ALLAPPDATA' variable will not be a problem.
Does anyone know if it's as simple as what I describe or do I need to take a much more complicated route?

Dear User,

I suppose you are using a dialog to collect these information.

You can place your customized code just after the dialog in order to change conditionally your target path.
So you could have something like this, just after your selection diaolg or after all your required selections has been collected:

if Variable SELECTION_ONE Equals 
Set Variable TARGETDIR to MYPATH_ONE
end
if Variable SELECTION_TWO Equals 
Set Variable TARGETDIR to MYPATH_TWO
end
