How do I get the IP address of the computer I am running the
installation on?

Hey Richard,

I eventually wrote a C# console application which
uses the System.Net namespace and retrieved the local
IP address that way. I then saved the info back into a variable.

I am going to be loading up Delphi again and writing my own
plug-ins. The first is going to be to retrieve the IP address(es).

Hi smurrell,

is it possible to get the source code (or some basic skeleton) of your plugin ?
Because, i am frickeling with the plugins/delphyBridge/.Net around, and my plugin still won't work any more. It says

Code: Select all

" is not a valid integer

Of course, " never will be a valid integer , but i cannot get it working any more.
