File Bag Plug-In error coming out of left field

Post by mfishman »

Out of nowhere and for no reason when ever I perform a build, I'm getting this error:

No files matching wildcard pattern
#IADIR#\runtimes\msxml60bin_x64\msxml6_x64.msi

I have not touched the compiler variables and there is nothing I can do to clear this error unless I comment out the setumpmsxml60_x64 Define File Bag instruction.

The thing that is so perplexing is that I haven't touched anything that would explain this.

Dear User,

can you check if the file "msxml6_x64.msi" exist under the "InstallAware 2012\Runtimes" installation folder?
Seems that you missed the "msxml60bin_x64" subfolder in your Define File Bag call.

Anyway, with IA 2012 the code with the install script should be;

Code: Select all

 Define File Bag : #IADIR#\runtimes\msxml60bin_x64\msxml6_x64.msi, get runtime location of files into variable MSXML60FILES_X64
Regards.

I deleted the call to the plug-in and re-added it. Everything is fine now. Wierd. But I'm good now...thanks
