Installation Package not working

I have a valid MSI file that was created with Microsoft Visual Studio (VB6). This file installs our 32-bit application successfully on XP, Vista, and Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit versions.)

I am trying the InstallAware Studio Admin version 12.0.
I have selected the "MSI/MSM Import Wizard" and then successfully imported my existing MSI file with no errors.
I have clicked on "Single File" and successfully generated a "setup.exe" file with no errors.
I have copied the setup.exe file to another computer (Win 7 x64).
The setup program runs with no errors.
However, when I run the application that was just installed, I receive a "DAX Error". Then, my application closes.

I would really appreciate some insight on this problem. I want to start using IA so that I can deploy updates automatically but I just can't get it to work.

I am not a VB expert ... but seems an error caused by some incorrect runtimes or settings on x64 target os.

By the way, with the informations that you posted it is not really easy to find out what happens.

works it properly on x86 OS?
