Hello Support,
I've completed building my installer and tested the command line usage with the executable.
Example: MyClient.exe /s Server=1.1.1.1 Port=4000
The above works fine with no issues
I then convert the exe to single msi using the group policy.
When I try MyClient.msi /s Server=1.1.1.1 Port=4000 it doesn't operate and gives me the msi accepted command line swicthes window.
Any idea what could be the problem?
Regards,
T.
MSI command line issue
Re: MSI command line issue
Found the solution.
When running the msi you need to include the command line switches for the executable inside a CMDLINE.
example: MyClient.msi CMDLINE="/s variable1=1 variable2=2"
To hide the msi as well use
MyClient.msi /quiet CMDLINE="/s variable1=1 variable2=2"
