Dear User,
No, we do not abandon any InstallAware user and we will continue to offer our support to past versions of InstallAware products.
Certainly due the fact that InstallAware NX is currently our major release, it will be very difficult that updates for the 2012 version will be released in future.

For reference, the website problems was solved by always calling Delete Virtual Folder before Create Virtual Folder;

I don't mean to be rude but if there's a bug in 2012 and there's no workaround, and also you are not going to release a fix, how do you call it?FrancescoT wrote:Dear User,

Dear User,

You are not rude ... but I mine exactly what I said. As for any past IA version it will be very difficult that updates will be released.I don't mean to be rude but if there's a bug in 2012 and there's no workaround, and also you are not going to release a fix, how do you call it?

Re: Creating IIS applications changes the Web Site root path
My company sells sw and supports up to 2 versions before the current one.
I understand this is not the place to discuss your support policies, next time I will better evaluate a product's support options before purchasing.
On topic, looks like the "delete vdir" workaround works!
Thanks again, Bjarne!

Hi Francesco,FrancescoT wrote:Dear User,
Unfortunately I do not have any news.
Could you please send me a very simple project that replicate the issue?
Regards
I am having exactly the same problem and reported it long ago:
http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewt ... f=2&t=7054
You can find a sample project attached there.
I tried to re-create virtual folders as suggested above in this thread. That did not help.
Please advise as this issue is very annoying. It affects our customers and I can't find any workaround.
Cheers,
Alex
