IIS7 Settings of type Application Pool?

Post by Dre' »

Hi, I've just upgraded to InstallAware NX, but somehow I still seem to miss a bit of useability that keeps me from finishing my installers the way I want them to be: we have to set some options of an Application Pool in IIS7 (like 32 bit application and load user profile), after having created it, but the Set IIS Setting command only allows for settings that apply to Sites or Virtual Folders, as the dialog clearly shows. Is there a way to set settings on an IIS7 Application Pool that I haven't heard of yet?

Hi Dre

You can use AppCmd

Code: Select all

Run Program $WINSYSDIR$\inetsrv\appcmd.exe set apppool "AppPoolName" /enable32BitAppOnWin64:true /processModel.identityType:LocalSystem
Cheers
